Father’s Day Thoughts

As father’s day is approaching, we thought about the significance of the holiday and the idea of fatherhood so  Father's Day F and Fwe  put down some thoughts that might resonate with some of our readers out there.

There are many men in the world who have this role as a father, but don’t actually theorize it and go in the depth of it.

Because many celebrate father’s day this month, we wanted to dedicate an editorial to what makes a man a father, may he be a biological or an emotional father. We wondered if you need a special day to celebrate fatherhood, as many say you don’t need a special day for such a thing. But, let’s be honest, it’s true, you can celebrate fatherhood on any day, but just in case you don’t, there’s a special day that reminds you of this. We can call it “did you celebrate your dad this year?”-day.

Fathers must show their children what the role of a man is, what the difference between a male and a man are.

A father’s role is not just a physical provider. Children can get things from so many sources. Many claim that fathers are here to protect and offer their children the love they need to grow. But there’s a lot more to that role. In the end, who says a mother can’t provide and protect her children quite well? So, we can see a difference between just having kids and taking on the part as a dad. A father is someone who raises children, not someone who has children.

But there are many men and women out there who don’t have fathers, and sadly, some of them feel this lack, but others surprisingly don’t.

And this is why we want to bring an ode to all the men that are the unknown fathers: all the father figures who take on a part they aren’t supposed to take.

In the end, we can say that fathers are like diamonds, they can’t be “made”, they need to be discovered.

We are not under any circumstance throwing shade at families that don’t have a father, they have nothing different and are in no way any worse or any better. A non-traditional family is equal to a more traditional one.

These are just  a few thoughts. Let us know yours.

“Fathers are like diamonds …” : what a beautiful thought ! I truly think they shine bright like diamonds too ! Thank you so much for the follow ! Stylish greetings from Marseille, France !

such a great post, my father has never been the kind to act like cares about things like birthdays and fathers day, so as a daughter you tend to sideline these things too, but i think its important to let your father know what he means to you even if he says he doesnt care about these things, because at the end of the day he might care, just a little bit, deep inside, dont you think?

There are many people who don’t care about things like holidays, but we can’t know if there’s something that determines them to do so, so in our opinion it’s best to act on it, but not insistently, as you might really piss someone off. You are definitely right that your dad might care somehow.
