The 22nd edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards was held on 11 December and presented awards for special achievements in filmmaking and television. It was a star-studded event which brought together many celebrities who wore some great fashions.

Ryan Reynolds

Actor Ryan Reynolds looked very dapper in a fitted tuxedo. What we really loved about his outfit was his contrast lapels, which gave visual interest and depth to the look. The fact that Ryan wore a double-breasted jacket was a plus as well.

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart looked incredible in classic evening attire at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards. We felt his watch was a bit much, but it didn’t bother us when it came to his overall look. Great job!

Tom Ford

Fashion designer Tom Ford wore a stunning velvet tuxedo, which made him look truly amazing. But, then again, when did Tom Ford not look fantastic? What we like about Tom is that his great looks are 50% his clothes and 50% attitude, which is what we’re all about!

John Travolta

Actor John Travolta wore a beautiful burgundy velvet jacket at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Going for materials and colors with depth is always a good move when you are attending a special event: it makes you more noticeable, memorable and gives you a unique vibe. Well done!

Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling went for a classic tuxedo at the Critics’ Choice Awards. What we enjoyed in particular about his look was that he chose a jacket with shawl lapels. The soft lines of shawl lapels make men look more youthful and dynamic.

Joel Edgerton

Actor Joel Edgerton wore an elegant gray suit which he accessorized with a brown tie and a red pocket square, which broke down the gray. The tie clip was a bit much, we felt, as there wasn’t any strong wind blowing at the event.

Donald Glover

It is always pleasant to see color on the red carpet. In this sense, Donald Glover was definitely on our best-dressed list. The color of his suit was well chosen and we loved that he chose a shirt in a shade that was just a tad lighter. Well done!

Christian Slater

Going for a bit of shine, Christian Slater made his mark on the red carpet of the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards. When you are going to an event where there’s going to be a lot of pictures taken, it’s a good idea to add some shine to your look, as it will photograph very well. Also kudos for the shape of the glasses.

RuPaul

Drag superstar RuPaul looked smashing in a dark blue suit. Accessorized with neutral pieces, RuPaul looked balanced and chic. We loved the big hat, which in a way is one of Ru’s signature pieces.

Nick Cannon

Actor Nick Cannon wore his new signature accessory, a Sikh turban. This gives Nick a look for sure, which is memorable and interesting. More than his turban, our attention was drawn by his shiny shoes!

Ty Burrell

Showing that a timeless suit never goes out of style, Ty Burrell opted for a classic look at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards. As a fashion tip, you should always remember that having a good go-to suit, which you can accessorize with both a tie and a bow tie is a must. A classic suit can be worn almost anywhere and, if it fits well, it will make you look dapper.

Hollywood stars always dress to impress, which is why they make such great sartorial inspiration, especially during a festive season, such as the month of December. We’ll look forward to the project on which our favorite stars will embark next and what they will wear to future events.
