We don’t want you to feel awful in stunning clothes! And because looking great comes not only from the outside, but from the inside as well, today we want to talk about food!
As you know, we are advocates for feeling great and looking great! But, as we said in our Lookbook, your clothes must say something about who you are and make you feel the part, they should not be a crutch! We believe that you can influence your attitude through other factors as well, and today we want to suggest a few feel-good foods, that will boost your energy and tone you up! It’s needless to say that changing your diet will affect your metabolism and overall state! So here are some “feel-good” foods! As we always state, these are mere suggestions of foods that can help you and not unbreakable rules. So,
Oranges are a great fruit, as they are filled with Vitamin C. They also fill your body with oxygen, which is something we all crave for in today’s world! Oxygen is something we all need and it can make you feel better and more energetic! Oranges make a great snack!
Fish contains fats like Omega-3 and according to studies they can improve your brain power and prevent problems in that area for when you get older. Omega-3 is a fat, yes, but it is a so-called “good fat”. These fatty acids can prevent depression!
Apples and other fruits like pears and strawberries can slow down the absorption of sugar in your blood and can lessen blood sugar and mood swings. Here’s a tip we’re sure you didn’t know: apples have a better effect on you than coffee, if you eat them in the morning.
Foods with fibers. Natural cereal and many fruits contain fibers. The effects of eating more fibers can be seen after a day or two, depending on your lifestyle.
We love chocolate just as much as you do, and we know too that chocolate is known to boost your mood. However, most chocolates contain a lot of sugar and other substances. It’s best if you eat dark chocolate, because it contains caffeine and theobromine, two substances that increase your energy levels.
Cashews, Almonds, and Hazelnuts are awesome because they are rich in protein and magnesium. Magnesium helps your body turn sugar into energy. Being low on magnesium can drain your energy.
Last but not least, water is the best thing for you! Water is the key element to life. Drinking water can prevent you from getting tired. Many times you will hear advice saying “drink a lot of water” but it’s best that you drink the amount that fits your body. More water is better of course, and no water is unacceptable!

Here’s a few eating tips you might want to keep in mind:
Eat often and light, it’s better than one heavy meal at the end of the day!
Have a diet that includes all types of nutrients! If you don’t eat meat for example, eating beans is a good substitute. Beans go great with rice and complete each other in terms of good substances.
Don’t eat to much of anything. We know some foods are really great, but eating too much of something can hurt your body and affect your stomach!
Fraquoh and Franchomme
