Get ready for the summer: The Calibre SS 2013 collection

The summer is almost here and we want you to know the trends so you can create your own outfits! Today we want to showcase Australian label’s Calibre spring/summer 2013 collection. This collection incorporates many of this season’s trends and we would like you to wear them.

Calibre offers great summer sport coats, colored trousers in bright colors (which are very in this season), shoes in great fabrics, shirts in bright-colored patterns and crisp tailored shorts that go well with sporty polo T-shirts.

When it comes to accessories, you can pair these clothes with fabulous aviator shades and leather belts.

We like this collection because it is at the same time preppy, casual and adventurous. In our opinion, this particular collections is great because it’s so easy to combine these clothes. The pants match both the shirts and the polo T-shirts, the shoes go with both short and long pants, the jackets can be worn both by day or by night and just changing one piece can dress up an outfit or dress it down. This means that if you wear a nice patterned shirt with short pants by day, you can change the pants for a pair of cotton long pants, add a jacket and a watch and you are set for going out in the evening, meeting friends or going to a club.

Also, this collection is so versatile because all colors are very bright so they are easy to combine. Because of the bright, contrasting colors, the shapes are very simple yet elegant. Also the shoes make a great combination with both daytime outfits and nightlife clothes.

Transitioning from winter to summer can be a little tricky, which is why we want to advise you to wear layers. Temperatures in spring can vary from high to low, so wearing a short-sleeve shirt should be done with a blazer, if you are expecting a cooler air wave in the evening. Also, make sure you don’t wear too light shoes, as your feet might freeze. Spring to some is synonym to rain, so be sure to wear clothes that can get wet and not go bad. Also carry around an umbrella, and make sure you have a waterproof pair of shoes. Of course, once summer is all in, you can wear anything you like, anytime you want.
