Versace is one of the most renowned names when it comes to fashion and style. The name “Versace” is associated worldwide with quality and taste.
Their fall/winter 2013-2014 look book for men is definitely a highly elegant one, even though the Versace runway show presented in Milan fashion week was a half-and-half situation. Part of the clothes were really colorful and elegant, while others were reminders of women’s lace lingerie, which we think are not very good-looking on a man.
We want to focus on the beautiful look book photos, inspired by the military, but with a touch of softness that give a sense of strength and protection. In the end, we do believe that strength should protect, not attack.
Sharp suiting, slim pants and a military knit coat are just some of the few items Versace chose to showcase using Edward Wilding as their model.
The colors are very calming and autumnal indeed, but from time to time we see a bold pattern or color that makes a statement and places the collection in the “must-see” shelf. There’s a lot of browns, blues and blacks, cut into clear pieces with clear lines and shapes. The occasional twist in terms of cut is there as well, being the exception that confirms the rule.
The collection combines functionality and style and some of the pieces, we think, will be just as modern ten years from now as they are today.
This line of clothing is definitely one to look for when searching for inspiration for all those who want to obtain a classic yet modern, clear but ambiguous look.

Cool blog. How long have you been blogging?
Hi!
Thank you for your appreciation!
The Attire Club blog will be celebrating it’s 1 year anniversary soon! We had been on-line for a while before that, but the blog has been launched only last year!
You are welcome. That’s good. All the best onward.
Thank you very much!
