A while ago on Attire Club, we launched a public challenge regarding a small video we wanted to create on fashion bloggers and their take on style.
Yesterday, 15th November 2015, we announced that the release date for the video. Two weeks from the 15th, on 29th November, the ‘We Are Fashion’ web documentary will go live on our website and on our official YouTube channel.
As a digital publisher, we wanted to discover in the shape of a film the way style is perceived and the role it plays in the lives of those who are directly interested in it. The documentary, which is similar to a visual collage, is structured in four parts that cover everything from fashion as an expression of the self to inspiration and fashion blogging as a business. ‘We are Fashion’ is our first real video (we have had some giveaway draws in the past) on our YouTube channel and there is more to come, so we encourage you to subscribe and stay tuned!
In a very simple manner, the web documentary documents the thoughts of young bloggers from all parts of the world. The different takes on fashion and style are a perfect mirror of the great diversity that is the puzzle called “the fashion world”.
Our poster girl is Laura Leox from Spain who is showing an International symbol while covered with a face mask. This image is a powerful one, as it shows the fact that beauty is something that is universal and that style is really found in the attitude one has.
In a way, ‘We Are Fashion’ can be considered a behind the scenes look at the fashion blogging world. We have learnt a lot from making this video and are looking forward to creating further films for the Attire Club channel.
With this video, we wanted to celebrate the things that inspire fashion bloggers and to allow them to shine in full sight of the world.
Even though we received quite a big collection of videos, we selected only those that we felt were the most interesting, funny and smart ones.
On Attire Club, we are always looking for new ways to create and offer a better fashion experience and this video is a step in a new direction.
