The world is a dynamic ecosystem, where everything that exists in it influences everything around it and is, of course, influenced by every element too. The process of combining elements results in new entities that have a life of their own.
This is what we set out to explore for our newest Style Portfolio. Therefore, the inspiration for our fall-winter 2015-16 Style Portfolio is the clash between the wilderness of colors and the structural, cultural processing of colors. In fashion, colors have the ability to transform a season and, by extension the way you see the world and your mood.
Our visual experiments are intended to see whether you can really mix prints, patterns and colors in such a way that it looks as if you didn’t think about it too much, but still looking amazing and sharp. Working with bold visual elements is a way to discover the true spirit of each individual element and of the elements that are born from these merges.
Any act of creation is a great balancing act between careful, creative planning and pure improvisation, making it a reflection of the duality of man.
While color might seem a strong, stable and objective part of life, it is actually the most relative one, as hues can change in different lighting conditions and appear differently when associated with other colors and shades. Asking ourselves what colors are colors will only lead us to the answer that colors are in fact very flexible, despite their sturdy appearance.
Therefore, our interactions with colors are one of the most subjective, sensitive and personal experiences we can have with our medium and a great way to communicate who we are, what our interests are and the things we enjoy.
