We Are Who We Are

Editorial – InCompany by Attire Club, the December 2015 issue

We are who we are.

Regardless of our beginnings, regardless of our journeys, or where we are right now, we can all take a step to enrich our lives, and, by enriching our lives and communicating, the lives of others.

An experience that consolidates, strengthens or supports our creativity, compassion or intelligence is an activity that is definitely worth taking.

There is a strong link between the things we think and the things we do, as our actions influence our thoughts and attitude, just like our thoughts influence our actions. Being open to new creative experiences makes a man self-confident, less predictable, and more self-accepting.

Changing yourself will magically transform the world.

The outside world is not only an expression of the inside world, but it is also a force that can shape the inside. The clothes you wear, your habits and your actions are all elements that can enrich your life. Shared with others, these things become veritable determinants of other’s journeys. Being in the company of things and people that inspire you is an experience in itself.

Many times, the things we consider details or accessories are things that matter greatly. It is the details that express subtlety and that shape a new vision of the world.

Even though sometimes the outside world can seem superficial and vain, taking everything with seriousness will make you take yourself and every detail of life more serious. Doing so, your consciousness can become complete, unique and in tandem with the universe at the same time.

Every person has the ability to offer their own take on the world and to make things their own. For example, the word “taika” means “magic” in the Finnish language and “peace” in Lithuanian. In Maori, the same word means “tiger” or “horse” and in Amharic (Ethiopian) it means “royal throne”. In Japanese, “taika” means “big house” or “God like person”. One word, one world, so many meanings.

And this is what everyone should see: That every thing, every action, and every thought you have is a direct reflection of you and you have the ability to affirm and give things the meaning you want to. And in doing so, you should always seek to connect with others. Connection gives purpose to our lives. And, even though it’s been said many times, you should always aspire to inspire. Being open and honest, especially with yourself, will open doors and lead to new heights.

At Attire Club, we offer a complete fashion, style and lifestyle experience, that covers not only fashion, but also what we call “metafashion”, which is everything one does before and after getting dressed. To have a rich life, one must be complete in every aspect of his life, from clothes and grooming to attitude and even sleep. This is why we have launched “InCompany”. The purpose of our publication is to complete your style experience, because style is not about the clothes only, it’s about the life you lead in the clothes.
