There’s no time like summer to travel and discover new aesthetics, colors and patterns. This is why; our summer 2018 issue is the very first travel issue of InCompany by Attire Club.
Therefore, many of the articles, features and interviews revolve around the idea of traveling and the way it connects to fashion. In the magazine, we find out the meaning of travel for two very different designers: Juan Carlos Gordillo from Guatemala, who designed a collection called “Journey to the Americas” and who has been presenting his collections for the last three years in Vienna, Austria and Lars Andersson, a Swedish designer who mixes in his aesthetic classic Scandinavian techniques with Indian and Nepalese aesthetics.
The summer 2018 edition also contains a look at one of the world’s top hotels, the beautiful Badrutt’s Palace located in St. Moritz in the Swiss Alps, a hotel that has a history as rich and powerful as its elegance. The issue also features a Travel Calendar around Europe and a special focus on Jordan.
In pure Attire Club spirit, there are some great style guides for men. These revolve around basic wardrobe staples, as well as a feature on 28 one-line fashion tips that cover all the basics of great style.
As in every issue, we talk with the movers and shakers of the fashion and style world. For this issue, we talked with entrepreneur and designer Franck Dubarry, who launched his eponymous watch brand two years ago and whose clients now include the King of Morocco and other famous royal heads. We also took a peek inside the world of Luca Vezil, an Italian it-boy who also covers this edition of the journal, who discussed going from a shy boy to a full-on online influencer.
We also celebrate the 20th anniversary of tastemaker Alessandro Maria Ferreri, who has been working in the luxury industry since the 90s.
Looking forward, we are discussing the newest trends in the luxury market and the new and exciting connection between fashion and cryptocurrencies.
And, because it’s InCompany by Attire Club, our classic features are there: the Current Obsessions roundup is all about travel watches, the Mood Diary features some amazing inspiration illustrations from Owen Jones’ book Grammar of Ornament and the Fashion Ahead section focuses on the first anti-pollution scarf, which is great for those who commute by bike or motorcycle.
To have a better understanding of the world of fashion, we’re discovering what does not work in the fashion system and how it is likely to change and look back at how fashion was used to shape new ideologies in the past, as we analyze the relation between pattern making and the Russian revolution.
Once again, InCompany by Attire Club proposes amazing photos, useful tips and great insights into the world of fashion, style and lifestyle, as, this time from a travel perspective.
As our motto, which is a quote by the fabulous Diana Vreeland says, “It’s not about the dress you wear, but it’s about the life you lead in the dress.”
You can order a beautiful print copy, which comes in high-quality paper and which is perfect to read on your travels or spare time. The timeless content also makes it a great addition to your coffee table, collection or library.
