Collections in review: The MSGM Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Today we want to comment and share the MSGM men’s spring/summer 2013 collection. We see many collections, but we wanted to review this one because it has a few elements that caught our eyes. It suits our philosophy to a certain extent and this is a big reason why we like it.

The collection features classic sportswear, but what they did is they redeveloped this. We find t-shirts, bermuda shorts, sneakers but also suits, shirts and classic jackets. The collection is targeted at young men who set a high standard and hint to the Ivy League spirit, it’s a collection for men who want to move a lot and with a purpose.

The collection features many logos, stripes, matte but also fluorescent colors.

The fabrics used here are cotton, nylon, rubber nylon and poplin, that come in colors such as yellow, pink, orange, green, red, purple, white and blue.

What we can learn from this collection is that you don’t need to wear formal clothes to be elegant, or force yourself to wear suits and fancy shirts if this does not fit who you are. There is such thing as casual yet elegant clothes.

Here are our favorites and why we like them!

Which one is your favorite?

Fraquoh and Franchomme

P.S. What do you think of the collection? Do you like wearing casual, yet elegant clothes? What is your opinion on mixing so many patterns?

We can see that, it might have been different from the rest of the collection for you, since it was a suit in a sporty collection.
