Ralph Lauren Sun Time

Spring is here and we can finally wear lighter clothes and brighter colors. Of course, we can wear bright colors in the winter as well, but for some reason, they seem better in the sun!

Ralph Lauren presented it’s spring/summer 2013 men’s collection at New York Fashion week and it got many favorable opinions and views. What surprised many people the most, was the use of the color brown, a color that is usually not very used in fashion, and especially for spring-summer collections.

The collection had the brand’s typical gentlemanly swagger and hip elegance.

Besides the brown, the other colors were not so surprising: reds, oranges and blues appeared on almost all creations. Speaking of colors, we liked the high contrasts created by different combinations: black and beige, cream and dark-blue, etc. We also loved the mix of patterns and the use of the same color, but in different shades on the same outfit.

In therms of shapes, the lines were clean and clear and gave the clothes a sculptural, yet dynamic effect. The collection is made for adult, yet youthful and open-minded men who want to look sharp but relaxed at the same time.

We loved the light-blue shirt, the perfect body fit and the double-colored shoes! Here are some of our favorite looks. We invite you to check out the gallery and let us know what you think!

Have a nice spring and find your inspiration within the fantastic collections of this season!

P.S. What did you think of the collection? Do you like the browns?

Love the mix of casual & formal outfits. I think sometimes guys can forget to have a little fun with their clothes. You can still be well dressed in a casual outfit. It all comes down to how you style it. And you can’t go wrong with Lauren!:)

Awesome collection! 🙂 I really like both the formal and casual looks.Especially like the shorts look since it’s kind of between the last two on formality. And great captions- almost missed them, but it’s a cool feature.
