Inspiration for Now: The Best of the Spring-Summer 2016 Menswear Campaigns

The fashion world is so diverse and varied, that it’s hard not to find something you want to incorporate in your own looks. The collections for the spring-summer 2016 season have been released a long while ago (a very long time, in fashion time), but now, since the season is here, it’s time to find your inspiration for your own looks and attitude.

To do this, we have put together a quick roundup of some of the best spring-summer 2016 menswear campaigns that will inspire you to dress and live in a way that reflects the best of you.

J. Lindberg

J.LINDEBERG SPRING-SUMMER 2016 MEN’S CAMPAIGN

Modern, western and soft are the three words that describe the J.Lindeberg spring-summer 2016 menswear campaign best. Model Matthijs Meel posed for the label wearing clothes featuring Western style motifs, such as suede fringe jackets and denim pieces. It is really great that the brand explored an urbanized western theme – that’s something we definitely love and would like to see more of. The extended campaign consist of both black and white and color pictures and collages, showcasing the versatility and many facets of the season’s collection.

Sacai

SACAI SPRING SUMMER 2016 Menswear

Model Ash Stymest models Sacai’s youthful vision for the season in a great mix of plaids and graphic prints. Relaxed shorts, striped knitwear and oversized jackets are also part of the collection. However, it is not only the clothes and the model that are great – the photographs shot by Craig McDean feature a great chromatic and sharp vibe that can serve as attitude inspiration this summer.

Gagliardi

GAGLIARDI SPRING-SUMMER 2016

Maltese menswear brand Gagliardi proposes a vacation invitation with their 2016 spring-summer 2016 look book. Featuring updated nautical styles and sharp suits and accessories, their campaign just makes one want to take a dive in their closet of versatile and always well-tailored clothes.

7 Diamonds

7 DIAMONDS SPRING-SUMMER 2016

A sensible and sensitive vibe is given off by the 7 Diamonds campaign, and that’s something we always love to see. Model Francisco Lachowski modeled elegant and very boyish, yet mature clothes that would fit with many creative and adventurous men. It’s always a pleasure to see a brand find a balance between color and flamboyance and maturity.

Geox

GEOX SPRING-SUMMER 2016

Photographer Rankin shot this incredible spring-summer 2016 campaign for Geox, highlighting the brand’s light, flexible and breathable Nebula sneaker. The ads feature dance moves that feel liberating and that truly encourage the viewer to #StartBreathing.

Buscemi

BUSCEMI SPRING-SUMMER 2016

Saving the best for last, the Buscemi campaign was an absolute visual fest that we just adored. Creative director Jon Buscemi explained that he wanted to reflect a disconnect from reality, the way a vacation does, and he definitely managed to do that. The colors and textures of the campaigns, while, in a way, too much, are actually really interesting and emerge the viewer into a dream.

In conclusion, we are very excited that, once again, there is something for everyone in the spring-summer campaigns. We have found a lot of inspiration in these pictures and are sure you will too. Finding what makes you tick is what style and attitude are all about, so seeing something you want to adapt for yourself is the first step into being You.

Fraquoh and Franchomme
