Discover the Spring 2019 Issue of InCompany by Attire Club

The April 2019 edition of InCompany by Attire Club is all about completing the picture. For all, or almost all of us, life is a continuous work in progress, especially if we set high standards – ideals. Ideals are, by definition, unattainable, which is why they work: if you have an idea, you’ll never be satisfied enough and you will always work to complete the picture.

The issue tackles very much on the concept of putting things in order and making it happen for yourself. For the first time, the magazine is covered by a sportsman, Ecuadorian-American racing driver Juan Manuel Correa. The 19 years-old is a great talent and shares with us his insights into his work and dreams.

Also, to keep it sporty, we did a big feature on the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz, Switzerland, which took place earlier this year.

The spring 2019 edition is also centered very much on art, culture and becoming centered. The magazine opens up with a really great interview with Canadian baritone Drew Santini, who shares some powerful insight on the way music intertwines with his life and how art has had an impact on him and vice versa. We also did a big feature called “An Attempt at Clarity”, where we looked at the thoughts of some amazing thinkers of the past. In this sense, we did the following files: E.E. Cummings on being yourself as an act of bravery, Kahlil Gibran on love as a continuous pulse, William Wordsworth on artistic genius and Alan Watts, the underrated philosopher, on the world as a reflection of yourself and yourself as a reflection of the world.

And, even though there’s a lot of sports and philosophy in this issue, we also take a look at great clothes, accessories and feature a series of amazing photographs and styling pointers.

Moreover, the April issue features a huge dossier on the latest edition of Baselworld, which wrapped up recently in the Swiss town – in it, we discuss not only the controversies the show went through over the last year, but also the ups and downs of this corner edition and look at some of the highlights of the watches and at some of the independent watchmakers as well.
