How to Skyrocket Your Fashion Brand’s Social Media Presence

Social media has become part of pretty much everyone’s daily lives. In every country in the world, there are 5.04 billion people on social media platforms at any given moment, so it stands to reason that it is an incredibly powerful tool for your business too if wielded correctly. Your brand can go from nothing to trend overnight with clever utilization of your social media, effort, and a little luck. Well, what exactly can you do? Help has arrived, and here you will find some things you can do to skyrocket your brand’s social media presence, so without further ado, let’s get into it.

Platforms

There is more to social media than just posting random content and hoping it reaches and resonates with your wanted audience; you need a strategy, a battle plan, if you will. Instagram likes obviously matter, so if you are still starting, there is a surefire way of getting boosted. You can just buy Instagram likes, and you will immediately notice the real likes pouring in too. You have to think about what the right platform is for you, what fits you and your product, and what your target audience is most likely to be on. If yours is a fashion brand, you are likely going to have the best reception and outreach on Instagram, although Facebook used to be a great option as well. However, in the last few years, it has become less popular, with Instagram becoming the main site to discover and buy fashion items.

Create an Instagram Shop

If you have not done so already, create an Instagram shop where users can view, browse, and purchase your products without even leaving the app, a convenience that might prove invaluable in gaining and retaining customers, as most people on the internet are too lazy to even tap on a different link that will take them to another website. This may be a sad state of affairs and may offer a rather sorrowful commentary on modern society, but that is not for you to worry about, we are just here to make your brand big.

Post Consistently

You need to create a consistent posting schedule, and that is a very important step that most new brands find themselves struggling with. Especially when they are still trying to get traction, getting off the ground and posting regularly is a vital element in creating a reliable, stable social media presence. Whether you are posting Instagram Stories, reels, TikToks, or Instagram posts, the same principle applies, decide on a schedule and stick to it. Along with consistency, you should also be clear on what you are going to post, although you can of course mix it up a little when needed. Whether you just want to promote your product, educate people about your product and show them the why behind your brand, entertain your audience with memes or reels, or however else you choose and create awareness for your brand that way (like Opera GX, KFC, or many other brands have very successfully done). Or whether you just want to inspire people, stir up their emotions while associating your product with more than just business, find the style that fits you and what you are trying to achieve, and stick to that general direction.

Influencer Marketing

Now this may sound horrible and be a repulsive idea at first glance, but investing in influencer marketing can give you a huge boost in visibility. Whether you are sponsoring a YouTuber’s 4-hour video essay about an obscure subject no one has ever heard of before, making a few popular Instagram accounts tag you in their posts or stories, or “encouraging” a TikTok celebrity to give you a shoutout, you can really spread out your influence into corners of the internet and reach people that would have never even heard of your brand otherwise. In the end, that is what advertising is all about, making people hear about you and getting your name and your brand out there; that is how you slowly build an audience.

Hashtags

Now, using hashtags isn’t as crucial anymore as it was maybe ten years ago. It may even have a detrimental effect if you plaster your posts full of fashion-related hashtags, but especially if you are still starting out and trying to find your target audience, hashtags can prove beneficial. This is because people may see your content without actually following you, but they do follow the hashtags, which means you have another way of reaching your audience and hopefully customers. Then you have the question of how many hashtags you should use, and well, that depends on your chosen platform, but on Instagram, brands should use three to five for the best reach.

Customer Service

This is true whether you use social media or not; customer service should be your priority. How you treat your customers, shipping, price—those basics have the most impact when it comes to creating a customer base that stays, especially in the modern world where everything goes fast, and businesses rise and fall in the blink of an eye. That kind of loyalty and organic marketing are practically priceless. So when a customer contacts you or has an issue, you want to reply as fast as possible, be polite, relaxed, not too formal, and try to help them resolve their problems promptly. That kind of attention will have a huge impact on their shopping experience and may win their loyalty, so that not only they come back to shop with you again, but may, in turn, spread the word of your brand, either in their personal lives or on social media, and that is really the best marketing any business can ask for.

Of course, luck and good fortune have a lot to do with business as well. You can do everything right and still fail or take much too long to garner any attention, but the important thing is getting the basics right. Once you have those locked in, be authentic, decide what to post, how often, and in what style, and you will hopefully see your brand grow and bloom into a true success.
