An Overview Of Milan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014

The Milan Fashion week (Settimana della moda  in Italian) took place between the 22nd and 26th of June and showcased the men’s Spring/Summer 2014 collections of various notorious designers. The clothes presented seem to get better and better with every season, as art and functionality seem to become less distant and simplicity and elegance seem to be the rules. There is a trend going on for a while that we could see represented as well, that being over-sized clothes, but that did not seem to be the rule. Functional beauty seemed to be rule that the designers followed. Of course it’s very exciting to see all the new collections, it seems like Christmas in the summer.

We see many clearly defined colors and patterns. What was interesting was that we could see from totally grey outfits and completely monochrome outfits to outfits that were on the highly colorful side.

Stretch silhouettes, amazing patterns (in all shapes and forms) and amazing ethnic and what we would call “new-ethnic” clothing will be the trends next spring.

Have a look at our selection of clothes from several designers and get your inspiration for next spring!

What do you think? Who did it best this season?

Fraquoh and Franchomme

I still have to go through Milan fashion week and review that, but I think it looks much much more colourful than LFW. Now let’s see how PFW goes 😀

I would love to have your feedback on ymy LFW collection reviews 🙂
